Abstract

Peripheral vascular disease (PVD) is associated with impaired neurocognitive recovery in acute traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients. There is sparse amount of literature reporting the impact of PVD on outcomes in this population. This study aims to further investigate the common comorbidity of PVD and its effects on the outcomes of short-term in-hospital patients after acute TBI.
