Abstract

In many organizations, the implementation of information security management have some barriers. Some of them are related with the employees, such as resistance and lack of awareness to make information security policies and procedures. Those things can be influenced by the organizational culture. Therefore, this paper explores the impact of organizational culture with three aspects of information security, i.e. confidentiality, integrity, and availability. In this paper, the characteristics of organizational culture consists of four constructions; cooperativeness, innovativeness, consistency, and effectiveness. This study used a quantitative method with multiple linier regression analysis. Data were taken by using questionnaire distributed to all employees of a telecommunication providers customer service office. It shows that all dimensions of organizational culture significantly affect the implementation of information security triad simultaneously. Partially, organizational culture has a significant impact to confidentiality and integrity, but not to the availability.
