Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of music therapy on human beings and to highlight that music therapy has the potential to improve mental, physical, and social well-being. Music has been a part of every culture throughout the world since ancient times, making it possible for all kinds of emotions to be expressed in a way that has a profound and significant impact on both the singer and the listener's hearts. Music not only affects our nervous system and gives us a feeling of joy, but it may also be used to diagnose a wide range of medical conditions, both mental and physical. Because of the healing quality of music, the concept of 'Music Therapy' came into vogue and successfully, extensively used in numerous hospitals and medical facilities to treat a wide range of mental, physical illnesses and encourage a person's overall development in a variety of social contexts. Their effects can be seen in the form of improvement in the mental and physical condition of the person and social upliftment.
