Abstract

Background and Aims: The 3 years survival rate in diabetic patients with peripheral artery disease after partial foot amputation (PFA) generally does not exceed 60-70%. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the impact of medication adherence and compliance with lifestyle recommendations and on 1-year all-cause mortality in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) after PFA.
