Abstract
The role of the electric field on the magnetic ground state in thin disks is investigated. The equation governing the magnetic equilibrium in the case of rotational symmetry is derived and solved by varying electric and magnetic fields. The equilibrium states so obtained are classified in a phase diagram, which divides the plane of the electric and magnetic fields in regions where the magnetization profile has certain shape. Full micromagnetic simulations are used to confirm our analysis.
