Abstract
Rationale: Intermuscular fat (INTMF) and skeletal muscle depletion (sarcopenia) – measured with skeletal muscle index (SMI) - are two common conditions in the cancer and surgical patient and predict post-surgical prognosis. However, it is still unknown what is their influence on patients who are operated due to pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
