Abstract

The main endeavor of this study is to examine the relationship and nature of relationship between the Human Resource practices on employees motivation. Currently, the literature encourages the consideration of human resources as strategic factors, not only because they play vital part in policy implementation, also since they are foundation to be reckoned as sources of sustainable viable advantage. Relationships between human resource management practices and employee motivation have been studied from diverse perspectives. The research carried on & presented in this paper highlights a new approach to a vital area of human resource management specially in financial sectors of corporate world. Data was gathered from 60 employees of different companies of Financial Sector in Jaipur city. The outcome obtained from the study showed that there existed relationship between Human Resource Practices and employees motivation. On the basis of these findings, implications of the findings for future study were stated. Through this research study we explored contribution of human resource management practices including selection, training, career planning, compensation, performance appraisal, job definition and employee participation on employees motivation. Results highlighted that all the tested variables are positively correlated but correlation of compensation (0.67) and training (0.66) are highest respectively.
