Abstract

The study is about the impact of heat transfer and mass transfer over a linearly stretching sheet along with outer velocity for cross fluid flow. Current study is a remarkable attempt to boundary layer problem for the Cross fluid's two-dimensional heat transfer and flow transfer over linearly stretched slip. By using the suitable variables, the structure of partial differential expressions is converted into a set of extremely non-linear ordinary differential structure. The stretching sheet solutions are presented using the shooting technique, numerical methodology and graphs are depicting the shear-thinning and shear-thickening regimes. The effects of the newly developed aspects, specifically the cross fluid index ‘n’ and the Weissenberg number (We) are used to study the velocity and temperature fields. Previously published results are compared in the literature for a few limited examples, and an excellent concurrence is attained. The outcomes of the study shows very evocative impact on heat and mass transfer and it can be very useful in manufacturing industries.
