Abstract

Endometriosis is one of the most common gynecological diseases and affects around 30-50 % of women with infertility. Symptoms of endometriosis as well as infertility often affect psychological and social functioning of patients. The current study was undertaken to assess the level of psychological distress in infertile patients with and without endometriosis. Screening and management should be considered during routine assessment since neglect of mental health might have negative impact on couple`s infertility treatment and outcomes.
