Abstract

Aims: Drug eluted stents (DES) have been introduced in clinical routine as optimal interventional treatment in patients suffering from CAD. However, in-stent stenosis and acute in-stent-thrombosis are still commonly encountered in daily practice. Aim of the present study was to analyse the impact of DES on cardiac surgical practice in a single centre experience.
