Introduction

The salience of any issue, which is crucial to public or for some aspects of public can be studied through different means i.e. through measuring opinions and by doing discourse analysis of media which build a narrative for the society. The coverage of the ‘issue’ by the media shows the perception and the linguistics projection of the issue builds the narrative which leaves a great impact on public L. The discourse created for the projection of national identity of Pakistan has a direct link with youth as they are a part of national community. It is not necessary that all the events happened in the community have same level of importance, but they are projected in such a way that youth find themselves as victims
