Abstract

Background: In early March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) to be a global pandemic. This fatal disease may have a severe impact on quality of life, personal resilience, and academic performance. Aim of the study: To assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the health-related quality of life, resilience, and academic performance difficulties among recovered patients in Egypt. Study Design: A descriptive exploratory cross sectional research design was used. Study Settings: The current study was conducted among Egyptian subjects living in 27 governorates using an online survey method. Study Subjects: The study was carried out on a 405 Egyptian who were responded to the online questionnaire. Data collection tools: Health-Related Quality of Life, Personal Resilience and Academic Performance Difficulties among Recovered COVID – 19 Patients Assessment Survey Questionnaire was used which include five main parts (part I, & II to assess sociodemographic data, and history and risk factors, part III to Health-Related Quality of Life, part IV to assess personal resilience, and part V to assess the academic performance).
