Abstract

Copper doped Barium Titanate BaTi1-xMxO3 (x = 0.00, 0.02 and 0.04) perovskite ferroelectric ceramic synthesized by solid state reaction method. The crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) studied. The lattice parameter and crystalline size were calculated by XRD data. The XRD data revealed that crystallite size of ferroelectric ceramic powder found to be decrease from 32.84 nm to 32.58 nm with substitution of copper. The effect of copper ion on crystallization process, SEM, EDAX and FTIR of BaTiO3 has been also investigated. In Present work Cu2+ doped BaTiO3 at B site may be used as an efficient material for sensor based application in electronic industry.
