Abstract

Concurrent chemoradiation (CRT) is commonly used to treat advanced stage oropharyngeal cancer (OPC). CRT affects the immune system, but the specific effects on immune cell populations and function during and after treatment are poorly defined. This study was performed to assess the impact of CRT on T cell populations and their function during and after treatment in patients with advanced stage OPC.
