Abstract

Objective To analyze the impact of cognitive behavioral intervention on clinical effects and sleep disorders in patients with chronic hepatitis B. Methods The clinical data of 68 patients with chronic hepatitis B admitted to our hospital from March 2018 to September 2018 were collected and randomly divided into two groups. 34 patients in the control group underwent routine intervention, and 34 patients in the study group were treated with cognitive behavioral intervention based on the routine intervention. The SAS score and SDS score were compared between the two groups, as well as rate of sleep disorders and medication compliance. Results The SAS score and SDS score of the study group were significantly less than those of the control group after treatment and 3 and 6 months follow-up (P<0.05). The sleep disturbance rate of the study group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The medication compliance of the study group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The cognitive behavioral intervention on patients with chronic hepatitis B could alleviate the negative emotions such as depression and anxiety, reduce the symptoms of sleep disorders, and improve the patients' medication compliance. Key words: Cognitive behavioral intervention; Chronic hepatitis B; Clinical effects; Sleep disorders
