Abstract
Climate change is the single biggest threat facing humanity. Soil health is impacted by climate change. Climate change effects soil formation, soil structure and soil health which are complex processes affecting each other. Impact assessment of climate change on agriculture, horticulture and forests did not consider for a long time the soil quality issues. In this review, impacts of climate change on soil texture, soil structure, porosity, soil physico- chemical-biological components are reviewed. Role of soil microbes, soil carbon and crop diversication on soil health are also discussed.
