Abstract

Future fertility is an important concern for many cancer survivors. Androgen production is necessary for the development of competent follicles and for long term sexual health and well-being. However, the effects of chemotherapy on androgen production have not been examined. This study sought to identify factors associated with circulating androgen levels during and immediately after cancer therapy in young reproductive-aged women.
