Abstract

Journal of Business & Technology (JBT) is an open-access journal published by the Department of the Commerce and Financial Management of the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. The journal follows a double-blind peer-review process and is published bi-annually (January, July). JBT aims to publish scholarly research, critical reviews, case studies, practitioner reviews and technology reviews in the fields of business and technology.

Introduction

In a tech driven world, any company needs to have the online presence to conduct businesses in the modern day over traditional presence. Businesses and supporting services such as banks digital presence is vital. The development of the technology had led consumers of their financial services lead to moving from traditional banking to online banking, and the COVID-19 pandemic. A panel discussion was held on the importance of banks going digital and post COVID as well (Jafferjee et al, 2020). Customer loyalty should be secured in terms of online banking as much as it was in traditional banking.
