Abstract

Background and Aim: Body mass index (BMI) is associated with the risk of developing non alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The exact relationship between BMI and outcomes in patients with NAFLD is not well defined. We aimed to assess the clinical presentations, outcomes, development of liver-related events (LRE) and non-LREs in patients with NAFLD based on BMI.
