Abstract

This study investigates the connection between digital business strategy and achieving competitive advantage by using four capabilities, namely managerial, operational, IT, and e-collaboration capabilities, that depict a digital business strategy seen as a need to achieve a digital business strategy to improve and boost competitiveness. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used as one of the data analysis techniques, and as many as 832 banking personnel participated in the survey as respondents. The results show that a company's competitive advantage is strongly influenced by its digital business strategy, represented by organizational and managerial skills, operational capabilities, IT skills, and electronic collaboration capabilities. In addition, this study sheds fresh light on the importance of sustainability strategy in the relationship between digital business strategy and competitive advantage Furthermore, the study's conclusions can be applied to other growing markets.
