Abstract

Objective To analyze the influence of laparoscopic surgery for uterine fibroids on the expression of matix metalloproteinazse in oxidative stress and tumor tissue. Methods A total of 84 patients with uterine fibroids treated from February 2014 to March 2016 were selected, 42 patients underwent open surgery (control group), 42 patients underwent laparoscopic surgery (study group). Lipid oxidation parameters, the antioxidant index, protein and tumor tissue matrix metalloproteinase expression between two groups were observed and compared. Results In fibroid tissue in patients of the observation group MMP, protein and mRNA levels were significantly lower than those in the control group, the differences were significant (P<0.05); AOPP, MDA levels after operation in observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group of patients, the differences were significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Laparoscopic surgery for uterine fibroids can effectively reduce the degree of oxidative stress and tumor tissue matrix metalloproteinase expression, and can help to reduce body injury caused by surgery, the recovery has very positive implications for patients. Key words: Uterine fibroids laparoscopic surgery; Oxidative stress; Matrix metalloproteinase
