Immunological and hematological estimation of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP9) level in a serum of female infested through trichomonas vaginalis

Abstract

BackgroundTrichomonas vaginalis is one of the important parasitic infection pathogens found in a different world area; Immune response against the Trichomonas vaginalis parasite was exaggerated by producing a specific Immunochemistry materials as MMP9.ObjectivesThis study aims to detect the pervasiveness of expression of MMP9 among women infected with trichomoniasis.MethodologyCase-control study, purposive indiscriminately sample 50 women had been tested, consult of Central Health Laboratory, Al-Zahra Maternity & paediatric teaching Hospital, some Gynaecologists clinics. The documents amassed from February 2019 to December 2019 in Najaf province. The concentration levels of MMP9 in dignosed women were measured by using ELISA technique as stated by many parameters like age, gender, residence.ResultsThe results showed that the level of MMP9 was high in age 35-39 years was 9.61±1.53, The highest concentration of MMP9 in the serum of women more than men.ConclusionMatrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP9) show an important role in immunity in contradiction of infection with Trichomonas vaginalis.RecommendationAdvance researches are suggested to recognize the level of MMP9 amongst each man and women to be one of the particular laboratory tests in the induction of immune response against this species of infection.
