Abstract

Summary. M. pneumoniaeantibodies in human sera are detectable by double diffusion gel precipitation. These antibodies correlate with growth inhibiting antibody measured by the tetrazolium reduction inhibition test. All positive sera share a common precipitation band which appears to contain lipid.
