Abstract

Abstract Among the metal porphine and phthalocyanine complexes synthesized by the present authors, a iron(III) complex of 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl)porphine was found to be most sensitive for the chemiluminescence reaction of luminol–H2O2; it was successfully used in the determination of albumin as a protein model, with a detection limit of about 130pg.
