Abstract
Immobilized cofactors or coenzymes are of interest for two major reasons. They show potential as active immobilized coenzymes when used in enzymic processes such as steroid transformation (1); they find use as ligands in biospecific affinity chromatography. The various cofactor analogues synthesized in our laboratory and immobilized to Sepharose include: e-aminohexanoyl-NAD+ (2), NAD+- N6[N-(6-aminohexyl)-acetamide], and N6-carboxy-methyl-NAD+ (3), N6-(6-aminohexyl)-AMP (4–6) and 8-(6-aminohexyl)-aminocyclic AMP (7).
