Abstract

AbstractIn this research, a new and efficient nanocatalyst was synthesized and introduced and its catalytic activity was investigated in the C−N and C−O coupling reactions for synthesis of amines, ethers, aniline and phenol derivatives. This nanocatalyst was synthesized by trapping Palladium (II) in mesoporous holes of natural asphalt sulfonic acid and, then, immobilized via complexion with −SO3H branches of support. Natural asphalt/ Gilsonite which is a mineral heavy hydrocarbon, containing higher percentage of carbon, attracts much more attention because of its novelty, availability, green chemistry and low cost.
