Abstract

Since the last century, many researchers have attempted to improve the quality of treatment for facial defects.1 In recent years a computer scan information–aided surgical navigational system was used to accurately compare the intraoperative reduction profile with preoperative computer virtual simulation for exact reduction.2 Fan et al3 used computer-aided design (CAD)/computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) to treat complex periorbital fractures, deeming it a useful clinical tool to assist surgeons in accurate design of the surgical scheme and procedure and achieving improved surgical outcome.
