Abstract

A promising area for the modern medicine is creating a subjective element portrait of the population of certain biogeochemical regions for scientific development and implementation of measures to address the identified trace elements disorders, which appears to be extremely relevant today for the circumpolar people who have been experiencing the chronic exposure of environmentally caused stress. In this paper, the element picture of residents of Magadan city is under discussion, in age- and gender-related aspects, which was described according to the concentrations of twenty-five macro- and microelements in the hair samples, and the degree of their deviation from all-Russian average reference values.
