Abstract
In women with suspected advanced ovarian cancer, image-guidance coaxial multisampling allows for several representative tumour samples to be obtained. It is a simple and safe procedure that allows accurate histopathological diagnosis and thus appropriate referral to expert centres providing optimal therapeutic scheme and surgical care. We report four clinical observations in which coaxial image-guided multisampling core needle biopsy allowed optimal surgical care in patients with suspected advanced ovarian cancer.
