Abstract

A T-matrix based inversion algorithm is proposed to image the perfect electric conductor (PEC). The magnitude of the T-matrix serves as the parameter representing the scatterer. The method does not require any prior information such as the shape, location and number of the scatterers. Numerical result shows that the T-matrix method is able to clearly reconstruct the boundary for PEC and is quite robust against noise.
