Abstract

The Geostationary Interferometric Microwave Sounder (GIMS) is a new concept of atmosphere microwave sounder for China future geostationary earth orbit (GEO) meteorological satellite (FY-4). A GIMS proof-of-concept demonstrator operating at the temperature sounding bands of 50 ∼56GHz is successfully developed.
