Abstract

A 34-year-old female presented with chest pain 7 days after a caesarean section complicated with severe bleeding and hypertension. Her ECG showed ST-T elevation consistent with an anterior myocardial infarction and elevated Troponin I. Angiography revealed a spontaneous dissection (SD) of the left anterior descending artery (LAD), which was treated conservatively in a peripheral hospital.
