Abstract
Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value and limitation of echocardiography(UGG),magnetie resollance imaging(MRI),angiocardiography(ACG),endomyocardial biopsy(EMB)in endomyocardial fibrosis (EMF).Methods UGG,MRI,ACG and EMB were performed in 7 patients who had been considered as EMF.Results The correct diagnostic cases of UCG,MRI,ACG and EMB for EMF are 5/7,1/3,4/6 and 4/4,respectiveiy.Conclusions The rosults indicated that UCG,MRI,ACG and EMB are quite useful for diagnosing EMF.UCG is the first choice for examing EMF and MRI possess notable characteristics.Diagnosis and differential diagnosis of EMFdepend mainly on ACG.
