Abstract

Heterodyne holography is an original method for digital holography that relies on two-dimensional heterodyne detection to record the amplitude and the phase of a field. Knowing the field on the detector allows determining the field in all points of space. Among the many possible applications, heterodyne holography open the way to a new imagery technique of diffusing media. The idea is to acquire a maximum of information on the diffused field, and to extract then the pertinent one. First result in selecting ballistic photons is presented.
