Abstract

ObjectiveTo review the key points that are essential for the correct staging of cervical cancer by magnetic resonance imaging. ConclusionMagnetic resonance imaging is the method of choice for locoregional staging of cervical cancer. Thorough evaluation of prognostic factors such as tumor size, invasion of adjacent structures, and the presence of lymph node metastases is fundamental for planning appropriate treatment.
