Abstract
Image restoration technique is the process of taking a noisy image and estimating the clean, original image. While in the process of image acquisition, at some moment the images can be tarnished by various reasons. Therefore, for recovering the tarnished or corrupted images, image restoration is required. The aim of non-blind image restoration is to approximate the original image assuming the blur is identified. Wiener filter is commonly used method in image restoration. The disadvantage of this method is that it doesn't give the clear image. In this paper, a nonblind image restoration algorithm using wiener filter and cascaded shrinkage field (CSF) denoising algorithm has been proposed. Firstly, the degraded image is deconvoluted in Fourier space by Wiener filtering, and then, it is smoothed by the CSF technique. Experimental results are motivating and inspiring.
