Abstract

The influenza neuraminidase has historically been understudied compared to its surface protein counterpart, hemagglutinin. In two recent Immunity papers, Hansen etal. and Lei etal. bolster resurging interest in neuraminidase-targeting antibodies and their implications for therapy and "universal" vaccines.
