Reid is Curator of Agriculture and the Environment at The Henry Ford, Dearborn, Michigan. She taught history and historical administration at Eastern Illinois University from 1999 through 2016. She serves as adjunct faculty teaching ACES 179: History of Illinois Agriculture since 1860 at the University of Illinois.
