Abstract

Abstract We present a case of intussusception in a 4-month-old boy without the classic symptom triads who were presented to the Emergency Department with abdominal distension, vomiting, and constipation. No history of high-pitched cry and red currant jelly stool. On abdominal examination, he had only abdominal distended, increased peristaltic, and no palpable mass. Intussusception was diagnosed on X-ray abdominal and ultrasound, also operative findings revealed an Ileocolic intussusception secondary to a caecal diverticulum as a pathological lead point. Milking invagination and a diverticulectomy together were conducted. Postoperative, there was no complaint and hospital discharge on the fourth day after surgery.
