Abstract
L’articolo illustra come cinque poeti umanisti latini attivi in Friuli e nella regione giuliana recuperano alcuni episodi del mito del passaggio degli Argonauti nell’Adriatico settentrionale: il trasporto a spalla della nave attraverso le Alpi, il luogo dove si affacciarono sull’Adriatico, la presenza di Medea e l’assassinio di Apsirto. L’esame dei brani dimostra come la trattazione, basata esclusivamente su fonti latine, diventi da semplice ornamento retorico-erudito un elemento costitutivo di narrazione poetica e oggetto di discussione.
