Abstract

The possible causes of vaginal bleeding in a girl are many, from “simple” infections to pathologies of a neoplastic nature, not forgetting situations of suspected sexual abuse and the possible discovery of a foreign body. It is important that the pediatrician knows how to correctly approach this situation and propose a reasoned diagnostic procedure in close collaboration with the gynecological specialist.
