This paper gives a synthetic description of the Forza Italia's National First Congress. Following an ethnographic approach, the work analyse the ritual structure of the event assuming the social organization of the performance as the main focus of the description. Rules, repetition, symbols, spatial and temporal boundary, are considered as specifics ritual tools and basilar aspects of the dynamic of political power. The politics of Congress seems to be constructed only by performing these ritual tools, in order to produce a meaningful power of representation of the leader. It is argued that the symbolic purposes of this performance (verify organizational capability, invent a tradition, construct a public-mass, show that the Party really exists) were performed in a temporary but succesful way
