Abstract

The process of ignition and combustion of liquid hydrocarbon films under the conditions of a self-maintained surface microwave discharge in still air that is generated on a dielectric antenna in the paired pulse mode is investigated. The effect of the medium pre-excitation, which occurs during the first pulse on the period of induction and intensity of hydrocarbon combustion during the second microwave pulse, is demonstrated.
