Abstract

At present, volcanic reservoir exploration has been carried out widely in the world. In the eastern sag of Liaohe Basin, different volcanic eruption periods lead to complex facies and lithology of igneous rocks, which brings difficulties to logging interpretation. Therefore, a method to accurately identify igneous rock lithology is urgently needed. In this paper, the scheme for identifying igneous rock lithology uses multiple deep forest classifiers. To select a practical training set, 944 conventional logs (AC, DEN, GR, RLLD, and CNL) with lithologic labels were randomly selected from the target area. Compared with the test sets selected from other formations, the accuracy of the scheme reached 99.96%. The scheme was applied to three wells in the same area, and excellent results were achieved when the predicted lithology was compared with the lithology profile and thin section data.
