Abstract
Moisture transfer properties of fabrics are very important for thermal comfort of human body. To provide thermal balance, perspiration secreted from body should be transmitted to the atmosphere. The objective of this study is to analyze moisture transport behaviors of double jersey mattress ticking fabrics. In the experimental section drying time, vertical wicking and transfer wicking properties of cotton cotton, polyester polyester and viscose – viscose, cotton/polyester polyester double jersey fabrics mattress ticking fabrics are analyzed. According to test results the role of material and fabric structure variation on moisture transport behavior is evaluated.
