Abstract

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) pandemic and nationwide lockdowns forced individuals to transition their everyday, in‐person lives to a remote, virtual setting. It was essential for many health care professionals to become competent in telehealth practices within a matter of days. As a result, telehealth and virtual programming continue to be options for children and families. Recent literature has highlighted the pros and cons of virtual clinical care, including studies examining the effectiveness of remote versus in‐person delivery.
