Abstract
Agenda editor Kristin Palitza spoke to three African women filmmakers about gender-stereotyping in film and their own standing in a male-dominated industry. Their films, which all investigate women's lives and women's rights, were shown at the 27th Durban International Film Festival in South Africa, in June of this year.
