Abstract

Climate change caused by increasing greenhouse gases emissions challenges power system to transit to a low-carbon one. Integrated energy system gathering with various energy form of electricity/gas/heat/cold is considered to be a viable solution. Planning for integrated energy systems to realize high-efficiency energy utilization and carbon emission reduction is of great significance. For fast and direct learn about how integrated energy system planning is performed, a platform for planning integrated energy systems is developed in this paper, namely IESP (Integrated Energy System Planning). Different modeling modules are illustrated step by step to help relevant practitioners to better understand how planning schemes for integrated energy systems are determined from scratch.
