Abstract

Neocortical interneurons have been hypothesized to be important for circuit reorganization during learning. In this issue of Neuron, Yang etal. (2022) identify a subset of Npas4-expressing somatostatin interneurons that help regulate excitatory synaptic plasticity during motor learning.
