Abstract
The Southeastern Michigan EMC Chapter 8 Speaker Award Program was initiated in 2012 by the Executive Committee following discussions centered on rewarding speakers for their presentations which resulted in the education of our members. As a rule, speakers are invited to give technical presentations at monthly meetings which are usually held on weekday evenings. The presentations are recorded, posted on the Chapter website, and available for the professional development of members.
